Welcome and Keynote Address

Presentation Description

Using collaboration and partnerships to tackle modern slavery in business operations and supply chains: why it matters, what works, and where to next
Following a Welcome and Introduction from Alexander Coward, Vanessa Zimmerman will give a keynote address on the importance of partnering within and across sectors for business action on modern slavery. She will discuss what we can learn from other business and human rights partnerships pre-Modern Slavery Act, as well as explore the partnerships that we have seen as part of the Modern Slavery Act, including their positives, challenges and recommendations for the future. The session will conclude with a brief Q&A with Alexander and Vanessa.
